: Alliances :
The
Georgia Hispanic Network (GHNet) has formed membership alliances with
professional organizations and major employers in Atlanta so its
members can maximize their networking and professional development
resources and join any partner organization for a discounted rate.
Currently we have formed alliances with ACOLPA (the Association of Colombian Professionals in Atlanta, AEN (the Atlanta Executive Network), SHPE (the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, LAHEN (the Latin American Hispanic Employees Network of Delta Airlines), Alianza from BellSouth and IBM. We are also working on forming additional alliances.
ACOLPA (http://www.acolpa.com) aims to integrate its members into the U.S. labor force and business culture.
SHPE (http://www.shpega.org) is a national organization of professional engineers who serve as role models in the Hispanic community.
LAHEN promotes business opportunities for its members within Delta
ALIANZA promotes business opportunities for Hispanics within BellSouth.
IBM Diversity group promotes diversity and business opportunities for its members within the organization.
AEN (http://www.aen.org)
is one of the country’s largest gay and lesbian business and
professional organizations but it is open to the community without
regard to race, gender or sexual orientation.
